The Alex Moulton All Terrain Bicycle - AM-ATB - was launched in 1988 and has been claimed to be the first production mountain bike with full-suspension.

Relatively few were produced in the following four years, and in 1991 production of the AM-ATB was wound down before the jigs were modified and later used by Pashley to produce the Moulton APB.
Recently it has been discovered that a very small number of AM-ATB frames were built at the start of 1992, and this is one of them - frame number AT 9201xx.
It has all the usual AM-ATB features - separable frame in Reynolds 531, adjustable ride height front and back (unique to the AM-ATB), bottle bosses on seat tube and both sides of head tube, mounts for front and rear carriers. Unlike most AM-ATBs it has a Moulton adjustable 'Wishbone' stem and Moulton 'Mosquito' handlebars.
It was not painted and assembled into a bicycle until year 2000, when it was sold by Moulton Developments to Shaun Moulton (great nephew to Dr. Alex Moulton).
This bicycle has been very lightly used - on the canal towpath to Bathampton and back a couple of times. Whilst it shows some paint scratches and dust, it is, to all intents, a new bicycle. The colour is the classic Moulton 'steely grey'.
This bicycle is being sold as a private sale, on behalf of Shaun Moulton - he now has a new Moulton Jubilee.
Any questions are welcome. Interested parties are invited to view the bicycle, by arrangement, in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire.
